Terms of Service - Locum AI

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Locum AI (“the Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Platform.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Platform, including but not limited to healthcare professionals (“Doctors”) and healthcare facilities (“Clinics”).

2. Description of Service

Locum AI is a healthcare staffing platform that connects registered medical practitioners with healthcare facilities seeking temporary or locum medical professionals. The Platform provides:

Job posting and discovery services
Credential verification through medical regulatory bodies
Communication tools between doctors and clinics
Scheduling and availability management
Payment tracking and management
Rating and review systems

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Registration

To use certain features of the Platform, you must register for an account. You agree to:

Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
Maintain and promptly update your account information
Maintain the security of your password and account
Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

3.2 Account Types

Doctor Accounts: Available to registered medical practitioners. Requires valid medical license and practicing certificate (where applicable).

Clinic Accounts: Available to registered healthcare facilities. Requires valid business registration and facility credentials.

4. Verification and Credentials

4.1 Doctor Verification

All doctors must complete credential verification before accepting job assignments. This includes:

Valid medical license or registration number
Current practicing certificate (where applicable)
Professional indemnity insurance (where applicable)

4.2 Clinic Verification

Clinics must provide valid documentation to verify their operation, including but not limited to business registration and Ministry of Health approval documents.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Provide false or misleading information
Impersonate another person or entity
Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's operation
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform
Use the Platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
Harass, abuse, or harm another user
Circumvent the Platform to conduct direct transactions

6. Job Postings and Applications

6.1 For Clinics

Job postings must be accurate and comply with employment laws
Clinics are responsible for the terms and conditions of employment
Payment terms must be clearly stated in job postings
Clinics must honor agreed-upon rates and schedules

6.2 For Doctors

Applications must be made in good faith
Doctors must fulfill accepted job commitments
Cancellations must be made in accordance with Platform policies
Doctors must maintain valid credentials throughout their engagement

7. Payments

Payment arrangements are made directly between Clinics and Doctors. Locum AI facilitates tracking and record-keeping but is not responsible for:

Payment disputes between parties
Tax obligations of either party
Employment-related contributions and benefits (where applicable)

8. Intellectual Property

The Platform and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Locum AI and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

9. Limitation of Liability

Locum AI acts solely as an intermediary platform. We are not liable for:

The conduct of any user on or off the Platform
The quality of services provided by doctors or clinics
Any disputes between doctors and clinics
Medical malpractice or professional negligence
Loss of data or service interruptions

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Locum AI, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the Platform or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform will cease immediately.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via email or Platform notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through appropriate legal channels in the jurisdiction where the service is provided or where the company is registered.
